The goal would be the story and the footage as background noise. If I vacation this year on the blue ridge parkway then I'd have a good visual back drop.Scott Seidlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17244490864200031268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7352328927235200435.post-8024057763057826952020-06-02T08:30:28.546-05:002020-06-02T08:30:28.546-05:00The video and audio were fine. Because of the wide view of a GoPro you sort of have to guess at where they're pointing unless you have one with a rear display.

The first time I used mine on a helmet I had mine pointed down too far and was only seeing the dash and a little of the road. Feels claustrophobic.

I don't feel much draw to shooting these sorts of POV videos because I don't have much to say while I'm riding and without that the video just sort of drones on with the pavement rolling underneath and not really seeing details of anything else.

You seem to have stories so it worked for you in this one.

Also, I've convinced myself to only post videos that are short. POV stuff while riding and talking get long.

Bottom line though, I don't know what the heck I'm doing so anything might happen with my videos. I follow DanDan the Fireman on YouTube to watch his post-crash assessments of videos submitted. The POV footage is excellent content for that.

But who wants to crash to have a popular video!!??

Anyways, you seem to have the tech squared away. Now comes the hard part...Steve Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04540977884513559091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7352328927235200435.post-33977347554660472072020-05-31T17:48:00.418-05:002020-05-31T17:48:00.418-05:00Ya my memory about who was there is a bit foggy.
